Emotions

I'm reading a great book called "Writing For Emotional Release" by Beth Jacobs Ph.D.

It's a book that helps people deal with emotion management; an area I need help in, thus this blog. I've noticed that since I've started writing this blog that I feel calmer and more able to deal with stress. Coincidence? I think not.

This book discusses the sets of skills needed to manage emotions; such as distance, define, release, refocus, organize, regroup and maintain.

Affect dysregulation are disruptions caused by unbalanced feelings. Unbalanced feelings come from emotions that are not clear, coherant or conscience.

I can tell this book is going to help me already.

Today it rained, again. I am so sick of the rain. It's turning our little corner of the world into a big mush pile.
